ANOCOAT is a fast dry solvent stop-off lacquer or liquid maskant that can be applied over a clean surface by brushing, dipping, or spray to the surface to be masked.
ANOCOAT can be used in most anodizing processes. For certain process requirements additional coats may be applied after solvent flash off. Under normal ambient conditions parts can enter the process within one to two hours after application.
ANOCOAT can be removed by stripping using ANOCOAT STRIPPER/REDUCER.
Use ANOCOAT STRIPPER/REDUCER to thin to spray viscosity if applying by spray.Cure may be accelerated by increasing ambient temperature.
ANOCOAT has an easy to detect blue color to readily enable determination of application location, detection of inadvertent application and completeness of removal. The color intensity is intentionally light to enable a rough visual determination of application thickness.
ANOCOAT contains flammable solvents and is available in 1 gal., 5 gal., and 55 gal.
